1. Open VideoBuddy
To convert a videos to an Apple device friendly format, open VideoBuddy from your Applications folder or click the application icon located in your Dock.

2. Drop files into VideoBuddy drop area
When VideoBuddy has finished launching, it will present you a dropping area as illustrated below.
Select files from your Finder and drop them into VideoBuddy to start converting.
3. Adjusting your settings
VideoBuddy let you specify where you want to save the converted file on your Mac hard drive, the device's format you want to convert to (AppleTV, iPhone 4, iPad, etc ...) and wether you want to add the converted file to iTunes so it is ready for your next sync.
Once you're happy with your settings, click the "Convert" button to start the conversion.
Universally compatible, full resolution settings for all current Apple devices: iPod (6G and up), iPhone, AppleTV, and Macs
Low resolution settings for the iPod (5G and up). Optimized for great playback on the iPod screen, with smaller file size.
iPhone & iPod Touch
Settings for all iPhones and iPod Touches going back to the original iPhone 2G.
Preset for the iPhone 4 is optimized for viewing on its 960x480 display.
Preset for the iPad, optimized for viewing on its 1024x768 display.
Settings for the AppleTV and 2009's iPhone and iPod Touch lineup. Provides a good balance between quality and file size, and pushes the devices to their limits. Includes Dolby Digital 5.1 AC3 sound for the AppleTV.
Preset for the Apple TV (2nd gen), optimized for viewing on its 1280x720 display.
General-purpose preset for High Profile H.264 video, with all the bells and whistles.
Traditional, faster, lower-quality settings.
